Referral Program Terms

Last updated: date · Operator: Legal entity name (ABN ABN) ("Arys") | contact email

These terms apply to the Arys referral program. They form part of the Terms of Use.

1. How it works

1.1 If you are a member of a coach's organisation, you get a personal referral link for that organisation. The link (and the code in it) is shown on the Account page of the adult account holder, one per organisation, while the coach runs a referral program. Your friend can open the link or type the code when they join. [Changed 25 Oct 2026: matches the built referral program]

1.2 When a friend joins through your link: (a) your friend gets a discount set by the coach on their first month; and (b) you earn a commission, a percentage (set by the coach) of what your friend actually pays for their first month. The default is 30% of the first month. A coach may choose to pay commission on the first 3, 6 or 12 months instead. The referral discount only applies to people who are new to that coach, and it does not combine with the coach's "found you on Arys" first-month offer. [Changed 25 Oct 2026: matches the built referral program]

1.3 The discount, commission rate and how many months it applies to are shown in the app before you share your link. Coaches can change them for future referrals. Changes do not affect friends who have already joined.

1.4 Who pays the commission: the commission is funded by the coach. It is deducted from the coach's share of your friend's payment and paid to you by Arys through Stripe.

2. Who can take part

2.1 You must have an active Arys account and be a member of the organisation.

2.2 Coaches and their staff cannot earn commission for referrals to their own organisation.

2.3 Under 18s cannot receive payouts in their own name. Earnings from a child profile are paid to the adult account holder on the same family account. Referral links are only given to adult account holders, and payouts can only be set up by an adult. [Changed 25 Oct 2026: matches the built referral program]

3. Earnings

3.1 Your earnings move through these stages:

StatusWhat it means
PendingYour friend has paid. The commission is held for 30 days in case of refund or chargeback.
AvailableThe 30 days have passed. You can withdraw it.
PaidThe money has been sent to your payout method.

3.2 You can see your pending, available and paid totals and a full payout history in the Account page of the app. Each payout also appears on your bank or card statement.

3.3 If your friend's payment is refunded or charged back, the related commission is cancelled (in proportion, for a partial refund). If it has already been paid out, we may claw it back by deducting it from future earnings or asking you to repay it. The app deducts it from future earnings automatically. [Changed 25 Oct 2026: matches the built referral program]

4. Payouts

4.1 To receive payouts, you must set up a payout account through Stripe Connect Express. Stripe will verify your identity. You must accept Stripe's terms.

4.2 You can be paid to:

(a) an eligible Visa or Mastercard debit card: instant payout, usually within 30 minutes, with a 1.5% fee shown before you confirm. If an instant payout can't be made, the money goes to your bank account instead with no fee; or [Changed 25 Oct 2026: matches the built referral program]

(b) an Australian bank account: free, usually within 1–3 business days.

4.3 Payouts cannot be made to credit cards. Card networks and Stripe only send payouts to debit cards and bank accounts.

4.4 Minimum payout amount: A$20, shown in the app before you withdraw. [Changed 25 Oct 2026: matches the built referral program]

4.5 We are not responsible for delays caused by Stripe, your bank, or incorrect payout details you provide.

5. Tax

5.1 Referral earnings may be assessable income. You are responsible for your own tax.

6. Rules

6.1 You must not:

(a) refer yourself, including through another account, another email or a family member's account used for your benefit;

(b) create or use fake accounts;

(c) post your link on coupon or deal websites, or through paid ads that use the coach's or Arys's name;

(d) send spam or unsolicited messages; you must comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth);

(e) make false or misleading claims about the coach or Arys; or

(f) target children with your referral link.

6.2 When you share your link publicly, you should make clear that you earn a commission.

7. Fraud and our rights

7.1 We use automated checks to detect self-referral and fraud. A referral discount is refused when the person joining is on the same account as you, has the same email address or phone number, or already trains with that coach. Earnings are held for review if your friend pays with the same card as you. [Changed 25 Oct 2026: matches the built referral program]

7.2 If we reasonably believe you have broken these terms, we may: (a) hold or cancel pending and available earnings connected to the breach; (b) claw back paid commission connected to the breach; (c) remove your referral link; and (d) suspend or close your account.

7.3 We will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, unless doing so would compromise a fraud investigation.

8. Changes and ending the program

8.1 We or a coach may change or end the referral program. We will give at least 30 days' notice of changes that reduce your earnings. Earnings already in "Available" status will still be paid.

8.2 If your membership ends, you will keep earnings already earned, subject to these terms.

9. Contact

9.1 Questions or complaints: contact email.
